Embassy of Finland in Romania, Business Finland and the Association of Automobile Manufacturers in Romania ACAROM are pleased to invite you to participate in the Romanian-Finnish Automotive Manufacturing Forum – webinar focused on knowledge and experience sharing in the field of smart and sustainable manufacturing. The event will address today’s challenges related to increasing the economic and energy efficiency of manufacturing processes in the automotive industry, as well as present some of the forerunner examples in how to handle them with industry 4.0 solutions.

Unique and persistent tradition, public and private sector collaboration and cutting–edge digital expertise have helped Finland to succeed in building its industrial sector while at the same time protecting the nature. Finland has a strong smart manufacturing competence, being a leader in development of wireless technologies for advanced manufacturing — going beyond Industry 4.0. Example Finnish competences in the smart factory area include digital twin, AR/VR, machine vision, cobots and human-robot collaboration, supply chain optimization, logistics planning. Finland is not only looking into smart, but also sustainable and energy-efficient manufacturing processes. As Finland plans to become carbon-neutral by 2035, which is an exceptionally ambitious goal on the international scale, a number of Finnish companies have set their own, very ambitious carbon neutrality targets.
